Our company began as a small family-based business in 2001 with an understanding that, for an originally small select group of individuals, the availability of traditional and big bank lending was not an option, for any number of reasons.

We began in a single office, with a small group of family members at a time when the world was rediscovering itself in a new century, and the small business owner-operators of this great province were working harder than ever to establish themselves day after day by the sweat of their own hands.

As time went on, we grew in that knowledge and understanding of our clients and have developed a great compassion for those people who work hard every day, earn their way in life, and are committed to the greater good of their own families and our collective communities.

Our vision has also grown over that time. And as we’ve now passed the reigns from the first generation in our family to the second, we proudly continue to serve this great province and the hard-working citizens that keep it running – despite what the world continues to throw at us, whether unstable oil prices, global pandemics, stock market crashes, or even unexpected personal bankruptcies.
